The state-by-state data from the USDA/NRCS CDROM is available for downloading as Arc/Info EXPORT format files. Users on the ESSC network may also directly access the Arc/Info coverage and tables directories for each state.

Minor modifications have been made to the MAPUNIT and COMP tables to provide consistency in the naming and placement of the all-water mapunit. A correction to the COMP table for New Mexico, distributed by the NRCS after the CDROM was published, has also been incorporated.
