Soils:
Most of the soils are Borolls. They are deep, well drained, and medium textured and have a frigid temperature regime and mixed mineralogy. The nearly level and undulating Argiborolls (Williams and Bowbells series) are on till plains. The steeper Haploborolls (Zahl and Max series) are on uplands; others (Arnegard series) are on small fans and terraces. Very poorly drained Argiaquolls (Parnell series) and poorly drained Argialbolls (Tonka series) are in kettle holes.
