Soils:
Most of the soils are Borolls. They are deep, well drained, and medium textured and have a frigid temperature regime and mixed mineralogy. The nearly level and undulating Argiborolls (Williams and Bowbells series) are on till plains. Haploborolls (Zahl and Max series) are on steeper uplands. The nearly level to gently sloping Natriborolls (Noonan and Niobell series) are scattered on till plains. Very poorly drained Argiaquolls (Parnell series) and poorly drained Argialbolls (Tonka series) are in kettle holes.
