Soils:
Most of the soils are Udolls, Udalfs, Aqualfs, and Aquolls. They are deep and medium textured and moderately fine textured and have a mesic temperature regime and mixed mineralogy. Well drained and moderately well drained, nearly level to sloping Hapludolls (Clarion and Nicollet series) and Hapludalfs (Kelkenny, Lester, and Le Sueur series) are on uplands. Poorly drained Haplaquolls (Webster, Marna, Madelia, and Canisteo series) and Ochraqualfs (Lerdal series) are on level and slightly depressed surfaces.
