Potential Natural Vegetation:
This area supports natural prairie vegetation characterized by little bluestem, big bluestem, switchgrass, and indiangrass. Bur oak, American basswood, American elm, eastern cottonwood, green ash, and willows grow in drainageways. Shrubs include American plum, common chokecherry, skunkbush sumac, and western snowberry.
