Soils:
Most of the soils are Boralfs. They have a frigid or cryic temperature regime and montmorillonitic mineralogy. Eutroboralfs (Citadel series), Haploborolls (Paunsaugunt series), and Eutrochrepts (Vannocker series) are at lower elevations, and Cryoboralfs are at higher elevations.
