Potential Natural Vegetation:
This area supports true prairie vegetation characterized by big and little bluestem, indiangrass, porcupinegrass, and green needlegrass. Needleandthread and prairie dropseed are important species on the steeper soils. Prairie cordgrass usually grows in the wet areas.
