Potential Natural Vegetation:
This area supports grass vegetation in the valleys and foothills and forest vegetation at higher elevations. Bluebunch wheatgrass, rough fescue, Idaho fescue, and western wheatgrass are the major grass species. Ponderosa pine, Rocky Mountain juniper, common snowberry, and skunkbush sumac are dominant species in forests.
