Potential Natural Vegetation:
This area supports mixed prairie vegetation. Little bluestem, prairie sandreed, green needlegrass, and needleandthread are dominant species. Sideoats grama and plains muhly are important species on the shallow soils. Leadplant and prairie rose grow on the sides of draws.
