Nebraska
26,220 km2 (10,120 mi2)

Soils:
Most of the soils are Ustolls. They are deep silty soils that formed in loess. They have a mesic temperature regime, an ustic moisture regime, and mixed mineralogy. The nearly level to strongly sloping Argiustolls (Holdrege series) are extensive on ridgetops. Steep, silty Ustorthents (Coly series) are on breaks along drainageways. Argiustolls (Hall series) and Haplustolls (Hord series) are on stream terraces. Ustifluvents (Hobbs series) are extensive on flood plains. Fine sandy loam Haplustolls (Anselmo series) are in the zone transitional to the Sand Hills.
