Soil Datasets

For the gridded versions of the data, the STATSGO alphanumeric mapunit ID (such as AL001 - Alabama Mapunit 001) is replaced by a mapunit serial number having a value between 1 and 10500. The relation between mapunit serial number and mapunit ID is defined by a translation table.
